We're due for some major celebrity wedding news, so I plan to keep one eye on the gossip sites while the other one's watching the ball drop on New Year's Eve. (Don't worry, I'll wear something sparkly and sip something festive while I stalk the celeb sites! And I'll be among friends.) Here are four celeb couples who I think could totally get married this New Year's Eve.
JESSICA SIMPSON & ERIC JOHNSON
Waaaaay back when Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson got engaged—that would be three years and two kids ago—there were rumors that they were planning a New Year's Eve wedding. Seems like this New Year's Eve would be an opportune time, no? And conveniently, they've spawned the two MOST adorable miniature attendants.
JENNIFER ANISTON & JUSTIN THEROUX
It seems like these two are always on opposite coasts, but Jennifer Aniston and fiance Justin Theroux are together in Mexico right now, reportedly with Courteney Cox, Howard Stern, Beth Ostrosky, Jimmy Kimmel, and Molly McNearney—a.k.a. the perfect A-list wedding guests.
KIM KARDASHIAN & KANYE WEST
There's no doubt Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding will blow our minds, but if they really want to shock the New Year's sparklers out of us, they could swap vows in Aspen, where they're currently vacationing with her mom, Kourtney, and baby North. (And, presumably, Kim's brand-new one-of-a-kind Birkin bag.)
KATE HUDSON & MATTHEW BELLAMY
Kate Hudson recently hosted a wedding for one of fiance Matthew Bellamy's bandmates at her Pacific Palisades home. So perhaps that was a practice round for her own home-style nuptials? Eh? Maybe?
