It's not just Kym Johnson's stunning emerald-cut engagement ring from Robert Herjavec that's amazing. The Shark Tank judge made sure that the story of how his bride-to-be got the ring was just as spectacular when asking the big question over the weekend.
"We went to the house and I had rose petals going up to the pool. In the pool was a big swan and on the swan was a box. She pulled the swan in, opened the box, and I said, 'Actually that's not for you. That's for me,'" Herjavec told Us Weekly. "I opened the box and the ring was inside. And I said, 'Will you marry me?' and she started crying and doing crazy sounds. And then I asked again and she started crying and doing crazy sounds. And I asked a third time and I was like, 'OK this is really uncomfortable!'"
Newly engaged or not, the couple already has their first-dance song picked out, and, guys, it's kinda sweet. Had the couple not gotten eliminated on Dancing With the Stars last year, their next piece would have been performed to Etta James' classic "At Last," and it's not been forgotten. "It was our next dance to do but we got voted out so we never got to do it. It will be our first dance as husband and wife, I guess," Johnson explained.
The 6.5-carat engagement ring appears to be a large emerald-cut diamond flanked by two smaller rectangular stones. The lucky lady said she spent most of yesterday gazing at its brilliance, but she hardly noticed the pretty pick when Herjavec popped the question. "I didn't even really see the full beauty of the ring because he could have given me anything. I was just so happy that he proposed to me."
