Don't get us wrong, engagement shoots definitely have their perks: They're a great way for you to get comfortable with your photographer before the big day and get some nice pictures of you and your fiancé—plus, more often than not nowadays, an engagement shoot is included in your overall photography package. But Amy Schumer and Girls star Jemima Kirke have nailed every bizarre, laughable cliche from these photo shoots, from the ridiculous poses to couples' motives for posting them on social media ("Engagement shoots are the single best way to rub your happiness in the fat townie face of every person you went to grade school with.").
