Rory and I didn’t register for wedding china. We lived in a 265-square-foot studio apartment at the time, and a second set of dishes didn’t seem practical. Plus, fancy-shmancy china always felt a little stuffy, so we passed.

Six years later we have a whole house where I can host dinner parties with more than two guests, so when I saw the collection former Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr designed with Royal Albert, I felt a little bit wistful. I would kind of love to have all this in our dining room.

Guys, I think I found the secret to giving an awesome wedding speech: Set it to music! As you’ll see below, Brit best man Joey Boyes totally nailed it when he toasted best friend Dom Clark and his new wife, Rebecca, last weekend, in a speech set to the tune of Frozen’s “Let It Go.” Even though the speech has some womp-womp lines we’ve all heard (“The groom’s not gay!” “Too late to leave now, bride!”) the whole thing feels fun and fresh. And there are plenty of sweet, super-personal parts too, including a line about the groom’s late dad. #tear Oh, just watch.

I know everyone likes to hate on being a bridesmaid, especially the part where you (traditionally) have to dress like a clone in a dress not of your choosing, but I'll be honest: I've always loved being a bridesmaid. Even when the dress is just meh. My favorite part: having no choice but to splurge on a salon updo. What fun to finally make one of the updo ideas I hoard via Pinterest and Instagram a reality. Waaaaay back in 1947, a young Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark proposed to Britain’s Princess Elizabeth, who would go on to become Queen Elizabeth II, the second longest-reigning (as of now) British monarch. To craft a fit-for-a-princess engagement ring, Prince Philip selected a 3-carat round diamond and 10 smaller diamonds from a tiara owned by his mother, Princess Alice. The diamonds were set in platinum by London jeweler Philip Antrobus Ltd., and the ring is still frequently seen on QE2’s left hand—along with her wedding band—even today.

This dressed-down QE2 is at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in 2010.

Nicky Hilton is certainly being coy about her new engagement ring. On every outing following her engagement to banking heir James Rothschild, she’s either flipped the bling-y part toward her palm or shoved her left hand in her pocket when she spots the paparazzi. Based on the first, faraway pics—and the fact that Nicky Hilton’s a hotel heiress marrying a banking heir—I assumed her engagement ring would be planet-size. But she finally let us catch glimpse, and it’s not stupid-big.

Obviously we’re going in for a closer look:

I mean, don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely XXL for your average girl. I’d guess it’s around a 5- or 6-carat Asscher-cut center stone with 1-ish-carat trapezoid side stones. I was just expecting something ostentatious, so I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s not. Nicely done, James.

We’ve all seen cut-to-the-bellybutton wedding dresses and sexy-back wedding dresses that dip dangerously low. If those aren’t your scene, how about this: From the front, Anne Barge's Devoted wedding dress looks downright demure.

But the side view shows an unexpected flash of skin. Also, pockets!

(There’s a sheer nude panel in the V if you can’t tell, so you wouldn’t risk your boob falling out the side.)

I dubbed the style the “peekaboo side” and was delighted when I saw something similar pop up once more, this time at JLM:

So pretty, right? The obvious problem with a peekaboo side, of course, is that the dress isn’t regular-bra-friendly. But I’m assuming both dresses have substantial cup situation going on. And I’d give either a shot with the NuBra, which I know seems bananas, but I’ve tried it and I swear by it.

In case you missed the MAJOR wedding news of, like, the year: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are married!

The breaking wedding news was first reported by the Associated Press, which also says the couple’s children all took active parts in their big day. Angelina was walked the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox and Pax. Daughters Zahara and Vivienne threw flower petals. And Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers, the newlyweds' spokesman told the AP.

Given how much thought he put into designing Angelina Jolie’s engagement ring, I’m surprised that Brad Pitt’s new wedding ring looks, um, just like my dad’s. (We found out earlier this A.M. that Brad and Angelina were married last weekend, if you just woke up.) Angie’s e-ring features ethically sourced diamonds that have an elongated shape to accentuate the shape of her fingers, if I remember correctly. And Brad Pitt’s wedding ring is a plain gold band. I guess we can go in for a closer look.

That’s Brad’s hand at a photo call for Fury earlier today. I don't know, maybe there's something twisty or texture-y going on there?

After two YEARS of waiting for the wedding, the very first post-wedding pic has me feeling deflated. But since the newlyweds have sold photos in the past to raise money for charity, I’m hoping that their wedding pics are currently on the auction block. (What’s our photo budget again, Glamour?)

Angelina Jolie was reportedly a vision in white when she married Brad Pitt last weekend. E! is reporting that Angelina’s wedding dress was “very traditional but very Angie.” The gown was reportedly floor-length and white with antique lace and silk. The designer has yet to be confirmed.

E! is also reporting that the bride’s wedding accessories included something old: “A small gold locket that had belonged to her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, with a photo of her mom inside it.” She also wore a veil, “and when ‘Brad lifted it [he] gasped because she looked so stunning.”
