It’s been suggested that I could write an entire post on every photo in Lauren Conrad’s wedding album, which Us Weekly just released. I thought that might be a teeny bit of overkill, but please join me while I review the photos, slide by slide.
Here’s a new photo from Lauren and William’s engagement sesh.
Slide 1) is a montage, so let’s proceed to 2) White-on-white-on-white wedding flowers—and that wedding dress with the 10-foot train. Love. 3) The photo from Us Weekly’s cover last week, so we already discussed. Moving on. 4) Her wedding shoes {Pretty! }, like her wedding dresses, were by Badgley Mischka. I think I found the exact pair>>5) The GORGEOUS illusion back on her first wedding dress.
6) The wedding party (which featured TEN bridesmaids, including Lo Bosworth!) looking ah-may-zing in Paper Crown bridesmaid dresses. 7) The bridesmaid bouquets—by Gilly Flowers & Events—were like mini versions of Lauren’s white-and-green bouquet. 8) A second shot of the bride and groom, this time in her second, dance-floor-ready wedding dress. 9) The bridesmaids. I’m pretty sure the ’maid on the bottom left is Lauren’s Paper Crown partner, Maura. (Lauren and Lo were her bridesmaids a few weeks ago!) 10) Pretty blush bridesmaid dresses, all in a row. It looks like every ‘maid had a different dress. “We took into account people’s shapes and common wedding colors,” said Lauren.
11) Lauren bounces on the bed in an all-white getting-ready gown. Us reports her getting-ready soundtrack included songs by Taylor Swift and Aretha Franklin. (Here’s her exact wedding reception playlist, if you’re curious!)12) OK, no bride gets her makeup done while halfway lying down on an all-white bed. This is clearly staged shot (with makeup artist Amy Nadine Clement), but it’s still lovely. 13) Here’s her 10-foot train all spread out. I hope we get to see it going down the aisle.* 14) The designers’ inspiration board, which I shared last week. 15) A close-up of two bridesmaids, Lo, and ‘maid-I-think-is-Maura.
*Spoiler alert: We don't. Tear.
16) That dreamy headpiece, which sort of reminds me of these by Jenny Packham. 17) The bride and groom, under the arch where they were married, wrote their own vows. 18) The couple’s whimsical wedding stationery was designed by Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co. 19) The requisite photo of the sun setting behind the kissing couple. 20) The night before swapping vows, Lauren helped wedding planner/close pal Cassandra Herschenfeld wrap loaves of bread in paper. How does she make BREAD look cute?
21) Guests were greeted with vodka-spiked lemonade {Totally did that at my wedding!} and a hard-cider-brandy cocktail. 22) White-on-white-on-white reception. It’s one of my favorite wedding palettes for a reason. 23)“I bought some vases to do my own [floral] arrangements,” said Lauren. Because of COURSE she did. 24) Lauren and another friend, Hannah Skvarla, picked 300 apples to make FIFTY apple pies. “It was a lot, but I liked the idea of a home-baked dessert.” 25) No one’s surprised that Lauren Conrad has a vintage handkerchief collection, right?
26) The first dance, to Once’s version of “You're My Best Friend.” 27) I didn’t know I would one day fall in love with a wooden table. Today is that day. 28) A couch for two for the bride and groom! Why didn’t I think of that? 29) Even the bags at the hotel were picture-perfect. No boring bottled water here. 30) A close-up of a reception table. THAT CRYSTAL. I DIE.
31) Their wedding cake, from A Sweet Savory, was understated and petite. 32) Another cake shot, with the perfect (obviously) vintage-y cake topper. 33) The groom serenaded his new wife to Frankie Valli’s “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” and the universe collectively went Awwwww!. 34) A little background on the wedding’s apple theme. (Hint: William Tell.) 35) Custom wedding playing cards. I’m so going to score a set on eBay. 36) And the picture-perfect sunset. Because of course the weather was sublime.
Thoughts on Lauren Conrad's wedding pictures? Which ideas will you copycat for your own wedding?
All of them? #nojudgment
P.S. Here's where Lauren and William are honeymooning, if you're not LC'd out yet.
