A Shiny, Chic New Way to Incorporate Balloons Into Your Wedding

Regular balloons and super-size globe balloons have definitely been done at weddings, but if you want to do either for your big day, I say, go for it. (I mean, white dresses and flowers have been done, too. We’re not reinventing the wedding wheel with every bride and groom.) But if you want a shiny new twist on latex balloons, check out these mylar pretties that popped {<-Haha! } up in my Instagram feed:


You can order the letters individually to spell anything you want (“love,” “married,” “bacon”—google “mylar balloon letters”) or there are kits to spell out specific words. Here’s “hooray.”

I think it’s super-cute. And I think the photo above has way more personality than it would if the bridesmaids were standing all stoically holding bouquets.
