While waiting not-so-patiently for pictures of Lauren Conrad’s wedding dress, I stumbled across photos of the wedding of Princess Maria Theresia von Thurn und Taxis and Hugo Wilson. The bride, a member of Germany’s Princely House of Thurn and Taxis, wore gown painted with outsize golden roses. (Here’s a really interesting article on her family.) And here is her wedding dress:

It’s very different from what we usually see on royalty, with all the exposed skin up top. I like.
