I’ve been patiently waiting to check out Courteney Cox’s engagement ring, and she finally flashed it while making her way out of Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood last night. (Courteney and Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid were engaged in June, in case you forgot.)

Obviously we’re going in for a closer look:

I’m assuming the ring is twisted, and that stone next to her pinkie is the center stone. I’m not sure if it’s pear- or marquise-shaped, but it looks like there are two round stones to the left of it, so I’d assume there are two round stones to the right too. It looks like all the stones are bezel-set, which is typical of the designer behind the ring, Jennifer Meyer, who shared this pic post-engagement:

The snap was captioned: “I guess he liked it so he put a Jennifer Meyer ring on it!! Xo”

It looks like the stones are in the same position there—with the bigger stone next to her pinkie—so maybe the ring is asymmetrical? I think I can get behind that, but I'd like to see an unfuzzy picture, so I'll be keeping an eye on JenMeyerJewelry, a must-follow on Instagram. (Unless you’re going to empty your bank account for diamond-studded bracelets, understated necklaces, or dainty rings. If you’re a pretty-jewelry shopaholic, avoid Jennifer Meyer at all costs.)

If you can handle swooning over jewelry without blowing your rent, check out all the Jennifer Meyer offerings at Barneys.

Thoughts on Courteney Cox’s engagement ring? And are you a Jennifer Meyer fan?

I adore that turquoise necklace that I linked to, but it’s either sold out or not in stores yet. Lucky for my mortgage.
