I guess when a guy proposes with a 14-carat engagement ring, the traditional one-year anniversary gift—paper—seems a little anticlimactic. So Avril Lavigne’s husband, Chad Kroeger, celebrated one year with a massive new diamond. A 17-carat emerald-cut diamond, to be exact.
