I kind of like the idea of a Disney wedding, with all the "magic" and the "making you feel like a princess." But I don't like the idea of spending my pre- and post-wedding days surrounded by a bunch of whiny kids doing cannonballs in the pool, which kind of comes with the territory if you're having a Disney World wedding. Until August, that is.
The Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World opens its doors August 3—and it sounds like a dreamy getaway for adults. (No, really!) I mean, a wedding at the Four Seasons—by definition—is going to be posh. And this says "grown-up chic," not "grubby toddlers," right?
You'll have the same great access to the Disney parks that you'd get at one of the kid-centric properties—the Four Seasons provides complimentary one-stop transportation—but back at the hotel, you can chill at an adults-only pool, where a poolside staff doles out cocktails and grown-up milk shakes. Yes, please!
Would you get married at Disney World? Or do you want to be the only princess on the grounds on your wedding day?
