Katy Perry strikes me as the kind of girl who would be up front about sharing her engagement news with her fans, so I don't think she's engaged to John Mayer. But she DID go out to dinner with him on Valentine's Day with an engagement-y ring on that finger, so I feel like we have to discuss. Here's her hand on Valentine's Day:

The ring looks like an art deco engagement ring, but Katie's worn engagement-y rings on THAT finger in the past—here, in November and again in December—so I think we have to wait for an official announcement before I start picking wedding dresses.
