Tutu Dress from Free Pople, $178.
"Is it OK to wear this dress to a winter wedding?" asks Save the Date reader Jessica.
Here are my thoughts:
Sure, it has a poufy white skirt, but a guest wearing this dress just isn't going to be mistaken for the bride, so I don't see what the problem would be. Plus, it's so hard for find a dressy dress that's also warm—and I'm SO over scarf-y "wraps"—so I think even an uptight bride would HAVE to forgive you for "wearing white" in this instance. I'm also kind of digging the tights.
I'm actually kind of partial to the navy-skirted version, but I prefer to dress in head-to-toe black.
I think either dress works for a wedding guest though—it's just a matter of taste.
Would you wear this white-skirted dress to a wedding? Or is it TOO much white for you?
