While Naya Rivera's new blond hair may have stolen the spotlight at last night's People's Choice Awards, I fell in love with Kat Dennings' beautiful hair and makeup—it was oh so very wedding-worthy, even topped off with a twinkling crown of a headband.
That perfect retro eyeliner, and that lip color—I just had to find out the products and tricks involved. Et voila!—here's all the information we need to copy this look, straight from celebrity makeup artist Lauren Andersen, who dolled Kat up for the awards show.
1. First, Lauren groomed Kat’s brows with Votre Vu brow wax.
2. For that neat swoop of liquid eyeliner, Lauren chose Avon SuperShock Gel Eyeliner in Blackout—it's a pencil shape, which you might find much easier to grip and control than a brush.
3. Next, Lauren applied Ardell Fashion Lashes #122, which are full/long yet fluttery and soft, and then painted on Avon Mega Effects Mascara (which has a really unique brush that makes lashes super dense—click the link to see).
4. She gave Kat's cheeks a "fresh ginger glow" by applying Avon Ideal Luminous Blush in Coral Radiance right on the apples (to find your apples, make a big smile, then put the blush on the highest point of your cheeks).
5. And finally, the name of that amazing lip color: Avon Ultra Color Absolute Lipstick in Radiant Raisin.
