When I saw Katy Perry and John Mayer were on Good Morning America yesterday, of course my eyes went right to her ring finger. Alas, there was nothing to see on that finger, but there was a pretty ring (it appears to be a ruby set in gold) on the finger next to it.
So what's the big deal, you're probably wondering. People are allowed to wear jewelry, after all. Well, when John and Katy left GMA—where they were previewing their first joint music video—the ring had mysteriously jumped onto her ring finger:

AND, later that night, when she joined John Mayer onstage in Brooklyn for a surprise performance of "Who You Love," the same ring was still sitting squarely on her engagement ring finger.
So, what do you think: Are Katy Perry and John Mayer engaged? Or am I being a psycho?
I mean, I'm definitely being a psycho, but am I right?! Of COURSE there's a chance that Katy just decided the ring fit better on her ring finger, but since Katy and John are on my short list of celebrities who will get engaged next, I wouldn't be surprised if they were engaged and keeping the news under wraps.
