I'm about three years removed from my college graduation, which means I'm experiencing my first wave of "friends getting engaged" news. Fortunately for me (and even more fortunately for them, when you think about it—they're the ones making the commitment), I've never reacted to a friend's forthcoming nuptials with any sort of visceral aversion. Instead, I've been happy for them!
