Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis—who welcomed a daughter in October of 2014 and were married the following July—have always been hush-hush about their wedding details. But Ashton finally opens on the Ellen show today. “Every time you’ve been here and Mila’s been here, you’ve been really cagey about the whole thing,” Ellen pressed. “You went and got married without any of us being invited.”
“It was a ninja effort,” Ashton explained. “We really didn’t want helicopters at our wedding. And it’s a legitimate concern. So I was posting things on social media that were in different locations to avoid the helicopters. We didn’t want to be screaming our vows at each other, like, ‘FOREVER!’ ‘DID YOU SAY NEVER?’ So we went really under the radar.”
