Just months after daughter Lauren Manzo said “I do” to longtime love Vito Scalia, mother-of-the-bride Caroline Manzo shared a throwback photo from her own ’80s wedding. And this bridal portrait is everything.
The photo, shared just after midnight last night, captioned, “#tbt to my wedding day. That was such a wonderful day!” Caroline and her now-husband, Albert Manzo III, met at a party where the latter was working for his father, who scolded his son to get back to work. Caroline told her future father-in-law, “I’m going to marry your son.” And she did, in 1984, wearing from a major ’80s puff-sleeve wedding dress and what appears to be a close-cropped perm.
