Another Bachelor In Paradiseengagement: The finale of the franchise’s second season saw Tanner proposing to Jade, taking their 20-or-so-day-old relationship to the next level in a major way.
The two exchanged “I love you”s before spending the night in the Fantasy Suite, then they met at the final-rose ceremony, where Tanner proposed with the Neil Lane (obvs.) engagement ring:
They blurred out the “Neil Lane” in the the box when we saw a sneak peek of the ring, and changed Tanner’s shirt color.
It appears to be a sizable, east-west-set emerald-cut diamond. Maybe three carats? VERY different from the cushion-cut diamonds we’re used to. The setting appears to be very vintage-y, also a departure from the usual halo settings Bachelor men tend to gravitate to. We’re fans.

This picture—of a ring from Neil Lane’s Couture collection—should give you a decent idea of what Jade’s engagement ring looks like, although I doubt it’s quite that big.
Jade (who we met on Prince Farming’s season of The Bachelor) and Tanner (a castoff from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Bachelorette) paired off on day one, sharing the season’s third one-on-one date and swapping roses back and forth at every rose ceremony. Like Marcus and Lacy—who got engaged on the finale of season one of Bachelor In Paradise—they’re getting engaged after a mere three weeks, and without meeting each other’s friends and families.
Will it last?

At the end of the show we were told Jade and Tanner will tie the knot in Mexico next summer. As with all Bachelor relationships, time will tell.
