In general we feel pretty “meh” about wedding favors, but this one’s so sweet, we’re smitten. Instead of handing out mini picture frames or custom beer koozies, Hannah and Scott gave their guests this adorable parting gift:
They’re children’s books, chosen to reflect how the bride and groom feel about each other and their outlook on life. The titles they chose included I Like You, The Pig of Happiness, Me Without You, and If Our Love Were a Book. (Credit for the idea goes to Hannah’s sister and maid of honor, Joyce Wong.)
Obviously if your guests are mostly young 20-somethings, they might not have an immediate need for a children’s book, but it’s small enough (and nonperishable, of course) to tuck away until your guests have kids to read it to. Or it would make a nice little gift that a niece or nephew would appreciate. And clearly they made for some adorable photo ops day-of.
