Hold on a second...are Cory and Lea engaged?
Nah! But that's not stopping Matthew Morrison from making plans for their maybe-someday-who-knows ceremony: "[Cory] and Lea make a great couple. They have what it takes to last. I will sing at their wedding." Ooh, and you know there would be tons of other Gleeks there too, so maybe it would turn into a big sing-off!
But here's a question for you: Do you think it's good idea to have musically minded friends perform at your ceremony or your reception?
* Pro: It's a sweet way to include someone who's important to you (and a meaningful way that she can contribute to your day).
* Another pro: It won't cost you anything!
* But what if her, uh, talent levels aren't as advanced as you might like? Or her musical style doesn't go with what you envisioned for the wedding?
* Another possible con: Doing business with a friend—especially if she performs professionally and expects payment, or doesn't agree with your instructions—could get uncomfortable.
But what do you think? Would (or did!) you have friends perform the music at your wedding? Awesome or awkward?
