Call it a happy accident: When one bride and groom (a friend’s parents) married in the ’60s, there was a printing mix-up that left them with thousands and thousands of custom cocktail napkins—way more than they would need for their wedding, possibly more than they’d need in their lifetime.
And so those cocktail napkins were broken out at every holiday and cocktail party that this friend remembers from growing up. As the stash started to deplete, her mom would mix just a few into a stack of plain cocktail napkins. And she still has some left.
Instead of hoping for a printer mix-up (fingers crossed?) why not print way more custom cocktail napkins than you actually need? They’re relatively cheap—just cents each—not hard to store, and they’re a sweet wedding souvenir that will last forever {sorry, year-old wedding cake }.
These awesome custom napkins, featuring a line from “Blurred Lines,” are from a real wedding that we recently featured. Click here for more from Crystal and Jason’s Real Wedding Album.
