There’s a place for full-on flower crowns at some weddings, of course, but unless the wedding features a certain type of bride (free-spirited flower child) and a certain setting (overgrown field of wildflowers or cliff overlooking the ocean), a traditional flower crown can feel a little contrived.
If you teeter somewhere between “sophisticated style maven” and “gypsy soul,” here’s a more polished take on the flower crown that won’t leave you looking like a Woodstock castoff on your wedding day.
Spotted on photographer Amber Gress's Instagram, this bride’s sparkly, elegant wedding headpiece feels a little bit Kate Moss, a little bit Kate Middleton. The bride, Thea, designed the headpiece in question for herself—but thankfully she sells variations for other brides at her online shop, Hushed Commotion.
Liliana in Silver, $675.
