Rihanna stepped out as a bridesmaid yesterday—for her friends’ 4/20 wedding—and managed to make embroidered lilac tulle look both beautiful and badass. (Because #rihanna. Obviously I would just look like a castoff from an ’80s prom in embroidered lilac tulle. ) Here are the pics she shared:

Looks like the bridesmaids got the directive to wear purple, any shade, any length. I think they pulled it off beautifully. I’m wondering how much the bride weighed in, and whether there was any, “This dress?” “NO. NOT THAT DRESS.” back-and-forth. I feel like purple could go really wrong, really easily. Nicely done, ladies.
