If you’re a fashion blogger whose entire life looks a pretty, pretty picture, obviously you can’t get engaged in bed wearing sweats. You’re going to need miles of cherry blossoms and pink petals skimming across a lake. You’re going to need a breezy, figure-skimming backless white dress. And you’re going to need your surfer-photographer boyfriend to capture the moment in a single gorgeous frame before he asks you to be his wife.
At least that’s how it all unfolded when Luke Shadbolt proposed to Nicole Warne, the blogger behind Gary Pepper Girl, during their trip to Tokyo. The two shared their engagement news (and this jaw-dropping photo) this morning.

Usually when I hear someone gets engaged I’m all about engagement-ring stalking. But this time I’d love to fast-forward to the wedding dress. (Or dresses. It has to be plural, right?)
